Strength: VELO goes stronger
This is the biggest difference. Most ZYN buyers choose 3 or 6 mg, and fewer than one in five ZYN cans is 10 mg or stronger. With VELO it is the other way round: more than half of all VELO cans are 10 mg or more, and the 17 mg MAX is VELO's best-seller. If you want a strong, icy pouch, VELO is the natural pick. If you want a moderate everyday pouch, ZYN has more options.
Flavour: cherry vs peppermint
ZYN's range is broader in fruit. Black Cherry, Peach, Citrus and Apple Mint are all big sellers, and ZYN Coffee has no real VELO equivalent. VELO's sales are built around peppermint (almost half of all VELO cans), with Purple Grape and Tropical Mango as its strongest fruit flavours.

ZYN's Mini pouches are its most popular format, small and discreet. VELO sells mostly regular slim pouches, with Minis only around 15% of sales. If pouch size matters to you, ZYN Mini is the most discreet option of the two.
